In August 2016 the Council adopted the first amendment to the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter Interlocal Agreement. This amendment clarified language on the ownership of the shelter, expansion and payment and admission of new parties. All partners adopted the ILA as presented in 2016. Upon further review, Judge Dan Gattis found other areas of clarification. This amendment makes it clear that there is undivided ownership interest in the improvements, not any real property. This amendment further clarifies that no Party shall be entitled to any compensation for their undivided ownership interest if that Party elects to withdraw from the agreement.
