This item authorizes a professional services agreement with WSP USA Inc. to provide engineering design services for roadway rehabilitation within the Turtle Creek Village Condos subdivision, including Prairie Rock Way, King Cotton Lane, Mondale Trail, and Thompson Trail.
The project was identified through the City’s pavement management efforts and geotechnical evaluations. Existing pavement sections are experiencing structural failure and subgrade movement associated with expansive clay soils. The proposed project will develop plans and specifications for full-depth roadway and curb reconstruction intended to provide a long-term pavement solution.
Services include geotechnical investigation, pavement design recommendations, roadway PS&E preparation, traffic control, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SW3P), Homeowners Association (HOA) coordination support, and limited construction phase services. Total lump sum cost is $158,825.
