Title

Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Fourth Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement with Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority for transit services.

 

Body

Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Amendment No. 4 to the original Interlocal Agreement (ILA) dated September 22, 2022 between the City of Round Rock and CapMetro. This agreement is for a two-year period starting on October 1, 2026 and is set to expire on September 30, 2028. CapMetro will provide local fixed route bus service within the City and commuter service into and out of Austin.

 

Capital Metro will provide the required number of vehicles, supervisors, fuel, bus operators and all other incidentals as required to perform an operationally dependable public transportation service.

 

The City will use a combination of federal (5307) and local funding to meet its financial commitment under this  Agreement. The City and Capital Metro will both ensure compliance with all applicable federal statutes, regulations and policies.

 

Fiscal Year FY2027  - $1,616,422

Fiscal Year FY2028 -  $1,705,518

Total Two Year - $3,321,940

 

 

Cost: $3,321,940
