Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Supplemental Contract No. 1 with Rodriguez Transportation Group, Inc. for the Gattis School Road - Segment 2 Project.

The City approved a contract with Rodriguez Transportation Group (RTG) on April 27, 2023 in the amount of $1,233,143.93 for the preliminary engineering for the Gattis School Road - Segment 2 Project. Project also includes surveying, coordination with existing utilities, ROW exhibits, design of water and wastewater lines, and drainage improvements.
This Supplemental Agreement No. 1 is for ongoing engineering design of water and wastewater lines, as well as alternate alignments due to existing detention ponds, additional Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) work, and collect survey data outside the original project limits to assist with the drainage, water, and wastewater design effort. This Supplemental Agreement No. 1 is for $102,521.31, which increases the overall contract price to $1,335,665.24.
