Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with Odessa Pumps and Equipment, Inc. for the purchase of water and wastewater pumps and motors.

Staff is requesting approval to enter into an agreement with Odessa Pumps and Equipment, Inc., until June 28, 2028. The City operates multiple water treatment sites and facilities that treat millions of gallons of water per day for the citizens of Round Rock. The pumps and motors that operate these facilities are crucial for treatment and distribution of our water system. In addition, the City operates two wastewater treatment plants and a large wastewater collection system. Therefore, proper and timely maintenance and repair is essential to the City.
Odessa Pumps and Equipment, Inc., is a local company who supplies the pumps and equipment to fulfill the City’s pump and motor needs for both the water and wastewater system. The City would like to partner with Odessa Pumps and Equipment, Inc. to help ensure reliable delivery of water and collection of wastewater. This agreement will cover purchases of pump and motor repairs and installations, as well as services for existing equipment.
The total contract amount will be $225,000 until June 28, 2028.
Cost: $225,000.00
