Title

Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a real estate contract with Weed Instrument Co., Inc, a Texas Corporation Doing Business as Ultra Electronics, Nuclear Sensors & Process Instrumentation for 0.1872 acre of right of way required for the N. Mays Gap Road Project.

 

Body

The City will constructing the N. Mays Street Widening Project that is located at the following two locations along N. Mays.

- N. Mays from Paloma Drive to Steam Way

- N. Mays from Oakmont Drive south of University Drive/Oakmont Intersection.

 

Improvements shall include a 5-lane roadway section, storm drain system, water quality elements, 10 foot wide Shared-Use-Path on the west side of the roadway, and 6 foot wide sidewalk on the east side of the roadway. The proposed right-of-way purchase price of $225,000 is a negotiated settlement with Weed Instrument Co., Inc.

 

 

Cost: $225,000.00
