Consider an ordinance annexing approximately 10.027 acres containing the City owned right-of-way for Arterial H between the Mayfield Ranch Subdivision, Section 7 and the right of way for County Road 175. (First Reading)*

This road right-of-way will be used for the location of a potable water supply line to serve the City and provide a needed connection to the Mayfield Ranch subdivision. The construction of Arterial H will be accomplished according to the terms of an interlocal agreement between the City and Williamson County, which was approved by the Council on June 11, 2015. Arterial H has been designed as a four lane roadway, with the first two lanes to be built by Williamson County and the additional lanes by the City, depending upon traffic demand.
This annexation will also provide for the annexation and zoning of approximately 34.53 acres located at corner of County Road 175 and the Arterial H right of way. These actions will be considered as separate agenda items.
