Consider a resolution approving the amendment to the Transportation Capital Improvement Program (TCIP) to increase funding for the following three projects: Red Bud North, Old Settlers Boulevard, and Wyoming Springs.
Body
This amendment to the Transportation Capital Improvement Program (TCIP) includes a budget adjustment and determining the projects listed in the TCIP meet the requirements for a project pursuant to the Local Government Code. The primary objective of this amendment is to increase or add additional funding for multiple projects. The items included in the amendment are the following:
1) Increase budget for the following projects:
a) Increase the budget for Red Bud North (US 79 to CR 117) by $18,200,000 for Construction & Contingency.
b) Increase the budget for Old Settlers Boulevard (N Red Bud Lane to CR 110) by $5,300,000 for Construction & Contingency.
c) Increase the budget for Wyoming Springs - Segment 1 (Creek Bend Boulevard/Brightwater Boulevard to FM3406/Old Settlers Boulevard) by $6,000,000 for Construction & Contingency.
This amendment to the TCIP budget results in an additional programming of Type B by $29,500,000.
