Title
Consider public testimony regarding, and a resolution expressing no objection to a proposed application for housing tax credits related to property located at 3000 Sunrise.
Body
LSBD Round Rock Sunrise, LLC proposes to build an affordable multifamily development at 3000 Sunrise Road and to apply for Low Income Housing Tax Credits from the State of Texas in order to finance the project. This resolution is a requirement of the Texas Government Code, to be approved by the City before the application is made. Related items on this agenda include a development agreement and rezoning request for a new Planned Unit Development (PUD No. 156) zoning district. The proposed development will have a maximum of 220 units, all of which will be offered at rates affordable to renters making less than 60% of the area median income.
The city has executed a handful of these resolutions over the last decade, most recently with this same developer for a project known as Preserve at Mustang Creek which is currently under construction on County Road 118.
