Please find attached a contract for approval for the preparation of a geometric design schematic and subsequent plans, specifications, and estimate (PS&E) for Gattis School Road Segment # 2 from Lawnmont Dr. to Windy Park Dr. approximately 3400 feet. The geometric schematic will be developed to establish the ROW/easement requirements, preliminary cost estimate and other design parameters for the proposed improvements generally consisting of reconstructing or widening the existing four-lane roadway to a five-lane section (including a continuous left turn lane with shared use path adjacent to the north ROW and 5’ (min) sidewalk adjacent to the south ROW). The cost for this engineering contract is in the amount of $1,233,143.93.
