Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Quantity Adjustment/Change Order No. 1 with Dan Williams Company for the CR 112 East Segment from CR 117 to CR 110 Project.

The CR 112 (Avery Nelson Parkway) roadway improvements is a high priority Arterial in the northeast quadrant of the City. The limits of this segment of CR 112 is from CR 117 heading east to CR 110. This roadway is being constructed as an urban 6-lane divided facility with select median openings for side roads. This segment is being constructed concurrently with the project that starts at AW Grimes Boulevard and ends at CR 117.
On October 15th, the City held an open bid for the CR 112 East Improvements Project. The City received six bids for the project. The base bid prices ranged from $20,434,128.40 to $22,678,614.30. The low bidder was Dan Williams at $20,434,128.40.
Quantity Adjustment/Change Order (QA/CO) No. 1 Includes quantity adjustments for constructing a detour connection between the East and West segments of CR 112. Also, the QA/CO No. 1 includes updated quantities for stormwater components due to unforeseen field conditions. These quantity adjustments are in the amount of $71,321.05. This will bring the updated contract total for the CR 112 East Segment Project to $20,505,449.45.
