Consider a resolution authorizing the City Manager to issue a Purchase Order to Parsons Commercial Roofing, Inc. for replacement of the roof at Central Fire Station.

During the last hailstorm Fire Station #1 received severe damage to the roof. TML our insurance carrier has authorized us to replace the roof and we will be covered for a full replacement minus our deductible of $25,000. In order to expedite the repair process, we are working directly with the original installer to get the material ordered and a temporary repair put into place. Full repair should take 4-6 weeks. The city will front the money for repair and then receive a check back for the repair minus our deductible.

 

Cost: $179,895.88
