The City of Round Rock operates various water and wastewater facilities throughout the City. These facilities need to be mowed and have general landscaping services completed on a routine basis. These sites include treatment plants, elevated storage tank, booster pump stations, pressure reducing valves, groundwater wells, etc. Many of the sites are directly adjacent to public roadways and allow for wildlife and rodents to infest our water and wastewater facilities. Previously, the City used Red & White Greenery, Inc. on an as-needed basis. The City initiated an invitation for bid in March 2019. Red & White Greenery, Inc. was shown to provide the best value for the City and was also the lowest bidder for these services. This will be a 5-year contract with Red & White Greenery Inc. which will not exceed $383,540 ($76,708/year).
