Title

Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Reimbursement Agreement with Atmos Energy Company for the Multi-Purpose Complex portion of the Old Settlers Park Buildout Project.

Body

This resolution is for Council to approve the Mayor to execute agreements with Atmos Energy Corporation for design and construction of gas line infrastructure to the Old Settlers Park -  Multi-Purpose Complex. The size and need of the facilities lend themselves to natural gas for efficiency for heating. Currently the Old Settlers Park does not have natural gas lines in proximity the projects. Each agreement is setup as a reimbursement such that the City will deposit the agreed upon amount. After completion of the work, the difference between the deposits and actual costs for the project, will return to the City.

Cost: $622,013.00
