The purpose of this agenda item is to request approval for entering into an agreement with Austin Armature Works, L.P., until June 30, 2028. The City of Round Rock' s water collections system serves the population of the City's residents. The City operates multiple water treatment sites and facilities that treat millions of gallons of water per day. The pumps and motors that operate these facilities are crucial for treatment and collection of our system's water and wastewater; therefore, proper and timely maintenance and repair is essential to the City of Round Rock. Austin Armature Works, L.P. is a local company who already contributes and serves the City’s pump and motor needs.
Austin Armature Works, L.P. has provided reliable equipment and repairs of the City’s pumps and motors in the past years, as well as replacement of failed motors. The City looks to continue to partner with Austin Armature Works, L.P. to help ensure reliable delivery of water and collections. This agreement will cover purchases of pump and motor repairs and installations, as well as services for existing equipment.
The total contract amount will be $900,000 until June 30, 2028.
Cost: $900,000.00
