Title

Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with Zone Industries, LLC for the purchase of water and wastewater pumps and motors.

Body

The Brushy Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Plants receive wastewater from the Cities of Round Rock, Austin, Cedar Park, and Leander.  As part of the treatment process, incoming wastewater must be pumped from the influent lift stations and sent to the beginning of the treatment process in order for the wastewater to gravity flow through the aerations basins, clarifies, disinfection process, and then to the effluent outfall to complete the treatment process.

This contract ensures that maintenance needed for the pumps and motors in the plant can be performed by Zone Industries and billed at a not-to-exceed time and materials amount of $300,000.  Zone Industries has completed work in the plant for the partners in the past. This agreement will terminate in June 2028.

Cost: $300,000.00
