This property consists of CR 107 Spur right-of-way on the east side of SH 130 north of Chandler Road alongside the existing QuikTrip. The annexation of right-of-way is required where the city seeks to annex property adjacent to the right-of-way, and two public hearings are required before the ROW can be annexed. In this case, the ROW annexation will be followed by annexation and original zoning for the QuikTrip tract. The City notified Williamson County of its intent to annex the right-of-way pursuant to Section 43.1055 of the Local Government Code. Williamson County approved the release of right-of-way at the February 10, 2026, Commissioners Court meeting. This serves as the first of two statutorily required public hearings for right-of-way annexation; no city council action is required or permitted aside from conducting the public hearing. The second public hearing is anticipated to occur at the next city council meeting on March 26.
