The Brushy Creek East Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant employs a specialized polymer blend to facilitate daily operations. This polymer is essential for the dewatering and consolidation of sludge, a critical step in the disposal of solids produced during the treatment process. Following the expiration of the current contract with SNF Polydyne, an Invitation for Bid (IFB) was conducted, resulting in Solenis, LLC being awarded a five-year term contract valued at $1,250,000. The cost for this contract will be paid for by the partner cities based on the annual operations costs as determined by the annual wastewater flows from each partner.
