Attached is a change order/quantity adjustment for the above referenced project. In order to keep design costs significantly lower, Street Maintenance Projects are designed by in house staff. Repair quantities are approximated.
This is a negative quantity adjustment resulting from items that did not need to be fully utilized.
The original contract price was $3,543,440.05. The first QA/CO was in the amount of $38,140.10, adjusting the contract price to $3,581,580.15.
This QA/CO reduces the adjusted contract price by $124,438.05, making the final adjusted contract cost $3,457,142.10. The result is the overall cost of the project going down from $3,543,440.05 to $3,457,142.10; a savings of $86,297.95.
