Consider a resolution authorizing the application and submittal of the Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26) Section 5339(a) formula funds to the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) in the amount of $111,141. The city has a 20% match of $27,786, which brings the total amount to $138,927.
The FY26 Section 5339(a) formula funds have been reallocated from Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority (CapMetro), the Designated Recipient for the Austin Urbanized Area, to the City of Round Rock.
These funds will be combined with the City's current grant, TX-2026-063, to support upgrades and structural repairs to the Round Rock Intermodal Parking and Transit Facility (Transit Center). The proposed improvements will enhance the safety, functionality, and longevity of this critical transportation hub and help sustain and maintain the City's transit infrastructure for years to come.
