Title

Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Certificate of Project Completion and a Grant Close-Out Agreement regarding Grant Number B-10-SP-TX-0141 associated with the Southwest Downtown District Infrastructure Improvements Phase 5A Project.

Body

The City secured grant funding, in the amount of $500,000, for downtown revitalization from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).   The funds were applied to the Southwest Downtown District Infrastructure Improvements Phase 5A Project.  The City has received all of the funds.  Under the Grant Agreement, with HUD, the grant must be closed out with the submission of the Certificate of Project Completion, Grant Close-Out Agreement, final Federal Financial Report with back-up documentation and the final narrative report.

Recommended Action

Staff recommends approval.
