In another effort to modernize our daily work processes, the City of Round Rock seeks to implement an Electronic Records Management (ERM) solution. Laserfiche software gives us the ability to unify and manage all of the City's documents and records, regardless of the location or media.Throughout the City we use many different software programs based on the work being performed. Laserfiche will integrate with this software, working in the background as a repository for all City records and documents. Thus, allowing us to process and access information instantaneously, city-wide. The ease of use along with the many security features will aid in the City's desire to turn information as fast and as accurately as possible
This contract is in effect for a period of three years, thereafter automatically renewing on a yearly basis. This contract encompasses phase one, which includes Municipal Court, Human Resources and Administration. The remaining departments to be brought on over the next two years.
The $109,371.09 cost of this contract includes software, implementation, travel, training and initial support, with annual support costs of $22,439.60 going forward.
