Title

Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Professional Consulting Services Agreement with Alliance Engineering Group, Inc. for on-call engineering and construction material testing services.

 

Body

This resolution is for a work authorization contract with Alliance Engineering Group, Inc. for on-call engineering and construction materials testing. The agreement is for a term of three years, not to exceed one million dollars. Alliance Engineering Group has provided material testing for Fort Hood, has an in-house laboratory, and qualified testing technicians. Alliance is accredited by the American Association of Highway and Transportation Officials (ASSHTO), the American Concrete Institute (ACI), as well as the US Army Corps of Engineers.  With City Council approval, Alliance will perform material testing for the Bob Bennett Phase 2, Public Safety Training Phase 2, and future City projects.

 

Cost: $1,000,000.00
