Consider a resolution approving an amendment to the 2014 - 2015 Community Development Action Plan and Budget.

Funds from CDBG 2014 and prior year annual action plans (2012 & 2013) within this budget will be re-programmed.
The following activities have balances that will be re-programmed and/or a change in the scope of work:
CDBG 2012:
Interim Assistance (balance) $6,787
Public Services (balance) 2,324
Fair Housing Administration (balance) 551
CDBG 2013:
Public Services(balance) 2,094.70
Interim Assistance (balance) 2,885.01
Facility Improvements (balance) 46,427.45
CDBG 2014:
Park Improvements (change in park and scope) 176,674
Interim Assistance (add location of neighborhood to be cleaned up) 25,000
 
Proposed Changes:
A total of $237,743 is available for immediate reallocation from the Public Services, Interim Assistance (Neighborhood Clean Up), Park Improvements and Facility Improvements projects  from CDBG Program Years 2012, 2013 & 2014 to Park Improvements at Greenhill Park ($75,000) and Veterans Park ($162,743.16).  The sum of $25,000 in CDBG 2014 will remain in Interim Assistance for a Neighborhood Clean Up at Kensington Place.
 
The City of Round Rock Community Development Citizen Participation Plan requires that there must be a reasonable notice of a proposed Substantial Amendment so that residents will have an opportunity to review and comment on it.  The Public Comment period was from December 20, 2014 to January 20, 2015.  The Public Notice was posted at city hall on December 18, 2014 as well as published in the Round Rock Leader on Saturday, December 20, 2014.
 
No comments were received at the public hearing.
