Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority regarding the provision of Federal Transit Administration Section 5307 program funds for fiscal years 2015 and 2016.

This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) outlines the terms in which the Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Cap Metro) will distribute Federal Transit Administration Section 5307 funds to the City of Round Rock, as a direct recipient, for fiscal years 2015 and 2016. The exact amounts will be calculated based on the federal apportionment of Section 5307 funds Cap Metro will receive. The City is responsible for complying with all applicable Section 5307 program requirements including but not limited to providing local matching funds. The MOU will expire at the end of FY 2016.
