Title
Consider a resolution determining that Chaney-Cox Construction, Inc. provides the best value for the City for construction of Building "B" at the Round Rock Sports Center and authorizing the Mayor to execute a Standard Form of Agreement.

Body
Early on in the programming stages the Sports Center, Building B (Pavilion in front of the Sports Center) was always programmed to become a family entertainment center. This center will be used during the week for additional programming and during the weekend as a place for family and kids to go while waiting for their brothers and sisters to finish up playing in the center. This agreement will allow Chaney-Cox to construct the Round Rock Sports Center Building B finish out, complementing the success of the current Sports Center. The Completed building will expand services, allowing for additional programming. In addition it will serve as a relief area for families during tournaments where they can enjoy concessions with tables, seating and restroom facilities as well as a sports court and playground area.

Currently the design is complete and we have bid out the project using the Competitive Sealed Proposal delivery method. Following the bid opening on May 5th the selection Committee which consisted of seven members including an outside department as well as the Architect selected Chaney Cox as the Best Value for the City based on price and experience. Our goal is to complete construction by December of 2015
