Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Supplemental Agreement No. 2 with Brenntag Southwest, Inc. for purchase of Water Treatment Chemicals (Liquid Cationic Polymer).

On December 15, 2011, the City executed an agreement with Brenntag Southwest, Inc. for the purchase of Liquid Cationic Polymer in 55 Gallon Drums for the City's Water Treatment Plant located on the north side of Round Rock near Westinghouse Road. Liquid Cationic Polymer is used as a coagulant aid in the treatment of surface water. The term of the agreement was for three years with an option to extend the agreement for two additional 12-month periods. This Supplemental Agreement No. 2 is for the second 12-month extension of the agreement.
Cost: $113,580.00
