On December 15, 2011, the City executed an agreement with Brenntag Southwest, Inc. for the purchase of Liquid Aluminum Sulfate with 2% Copper Sulfate for the City's Water Treatment Plant located on the north side of Round Rock near Westinghouse Road. Liquid Aluminum Sulfate with 2% Copper Sulfate is used as the primary coagulant for surface water during the warm weather months. The term of the agreement was for three years with an option to extend the agreement for two additional 12-month periods. This Supplemental Agreement No. 2 is for the second 12-month extension of the agreement.
