Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Supplemental Contract No. 1 with Page Southerland Page, Inc. for the Southwest Downtown Infrastructure Improvements - Final Phase Project.

The purpose of the Southwest Downtown Infrastructure Improvements - Phase 5B project supplemental #1 is to provide additional design Infrastructure Improvements. These improvements include underground utility replacement to design and surface improvements including wider pedestrian facilities, street lighting, roadway improvements and to include full survey for the McNeil Rd. extension that will allow a connection through the Gypsum site.
The original Engineering contact was approved by Council in October 2015 to provide infrastructure improvements that follow the Southwest Downtown Master plan. These improvements include underground utility installation to meet ultimate buildout demands and surface improvements including wider pedestrian facilities, street lighting and roadway improvements. The project consists of the aforementioned improvements along Blair Street, from Main Street to McNeil Road; Bagdad Avenue, from Brown Street to Mays Street; McNeil Road from Lake Creek bridge to the Mays Street bridge, and Florence Street from Blair Street to McNeil Road
