Title

Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Real Estate Contract with Continental Homes of Texas, L.P. for the purchase of a 0.917 acre tract of land for the Logan Drive Extension Project.

Body

The Logan Drive extension was identified in 2011 by the City of Round Rock as an essential component of the Neighborhood Connectivity Program.  Since that time, the City engaged an engineering consultant to develop the conceptual design for the Logan Drive extension from the current intersection at A. W. Grimes Blvd to the existing Logan Drive terminus approximately 1,300 LF to the west and had right of way documents prepared by a licensed surveyor.  This real estate contract with Continental Homes, LP in the amount of $127,846.00 is for the purchase of 0.917 AC tract of land required for the Logan Drive extension right of way.

Recommended Action

Staff recommends approval.
