Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Supplemental Contract No.1 with Aguirre & Fields, LP. for On-Call Structural Engineering Services Work Authorization.
Body
This contract is to perform miscellaneous structural engineering services desired by the City on an “as needed” basis for tasks identified by City staff. Representative types of services include:
• Review of structural plans and specifications for bridges, retaining walls, culverts, dams, water quality and detention structures, water and wastewater structures, and foundations;
• Structural design for new structures, temporary structures, and value engineering options;
• Structural repair and rehabilitation including condition assessment of structures, repair recommendations and design/construction details, rehabilitation recommendations and design/construction details, and lifecycle analysis of structures;
• Structural construction services as well as review of plans, details and specification for constructability, construction sequencing and time determination, construction oversight and/or support for City inspection staff, and evaluation and responses to construction RFIs and/or modifications.
This engineering services contract for $50,000.00 with Aguirre&Fields, LP will expire December 31,2017.
