Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Quantity Adjustment/Change Order No. 4 with Cash Construction Co., Inc. for the Southwest Downtown District Infrastructure Improvements Phase 5A Project.

This is change order quantity adjustment # 4 for the Southwest Downtown 5A project. SWDT 5A is a complete rehab of the downtown area including Mays Street with new utilities, new traffic patterns, new sidewalks, street lighting and duct banks for the dry utilities to relocate underground and gateway arches at both ends of the project.
This change order includes redesign of the gateway arches, replacement guard railing at both bridges and edge milling on both bridges and to US 79.
The quantity adjustment portion includes materials necessary for abandoning an existing waterline and full replacement with a new line, fittings, valves etc. Also additional asphalt for both bridges and from the north bridge to US 79 that was not included in the original contract.
The total for both the change order and the quantity adjustment is $ 678,115.30
Cost: $678,115.30
