Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with Big House Sound, Inc. for the design, purchase, and installation of an audio system at the Dell Diamond.
Body
Big House Sound Incorporated has done a full performance evaluation of the existing sound system at the Dell Diamond, and has provided us with the attached proposal. Project scope includes a complete overhaul of the sound system to enhance game day atmosphere, as well as to better accommodate the sound needs of the wide variety of non-baseball events held at the stadium each year.
This project will begin immeidately after City Council approval and will be completed no later than February 10, 2017.
Cost: $619,910.04
Source of Funds: Hotel Occupancy Tax Fund ($485,000)
Dell Diamond Capital Improvement Fund ($107,955)
Dell Diamond Capital Repair Fund ($26,955.04)
