Consider an ordinance amending Chapter 42, Section 42-128, Code of Ordinances (2010 Edition) by amending a school speed zone on a portion of Creek Bend Boulevard. (Second Reading)

This ordinance will amend school speed zone limits on Creek Bend Boulevard, neighboring Old Town Elementary, from 200' south of Plantation Drive to 200' south of Sam Bass Road. It is the opinion of the Transportation Department that the recent completion of the Creek Bend Bridge will increase the traffic volumes at the intersection of Creek Bend Blvd. & Sam Bass Rd. Therefore, the Transportation Department recommends approval of extending the existing school zone on Creek Bend Boulevard.
