On August 18, 2016 the City solicited bids for the purchase of eleven water treatment chemicals. Fort Bend Services, Inc. was the low bidder for Belt Press Polymer. Belt Press Polymer is used to dewater treatment sludge.Fort Bend Services has been an approved vendor with the City for more than 20 years. This contract with Fort Bend Services is based on 550 gallon of usage per year for an annual cost of $5,434. This contract is for five years and a total amount of $27,170.
