Consider a resolution amending the Transportation Capital Improvement Program (TCIP).
Body
This amendment to the Transportation Capital Improvement Program (TCIP) includes a number of budget reductions and increases. The primary objective of this amendment is to adjust funding for several projects. Some of the items included in the amendment are the following:
Reduce the budget on a number of projects. Notable reductions include:
a) Reduce Mays/Rabbit Hill (formerly Oakmont) project by - $500,000;
b) Reduce La Frontera Streets Continuation project by - $338,465;
c) Reduce Southeast Downtown project by - $336,381;
d) Reduce Southwest Downtown Phase 5B project by - $300,000;
e) Reduce Kenney Fort Blvd Segment 4 by - $750,000
Increase the budgets for a number of projects. Increases are proposed for the following projects:
a) Multipurpose Sports Complex - Partial Arterial Roads project by - $750,000
b) Kenney Fort Blvd Segment 4 project by - $775,000
c) Arterial Sidewalks project by $295,000;
d) Neighborhood Connectivity-Texas Ave. and Logan Dr. project by $714,880;
e) 2012-2016 Major Maintenance Program project by - $786,381
This amendment to the TCIP budget results in a net effect of $775,000.
