Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Multiple Use Agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation to permit the installation of bus stops and the pouring of a concrete pad at designated site locations.

Body

The City's new bus service has two bus stops in the Texas Department of Transportation's (TxDOT) right-of-way; one near the Holiday Inn Express & Suites at 301 W. Louis Henna Blvd and the other near the Walmart at 2701 S. I 35.    The stop at 301 W. Louis Henna Blvd will consist of a bus stop sign.  The stop at 2701 S. I 35 will consist of a bus stop sign and a concrete pad.  TxDOT requires a Multiple Use Agreement (MUA) prior to work being completed in their right-of-way.  The first step in the MUA process is to provide TxDOT with a resolution of the City's intent to enter into the MUA.
