Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Supplemental Agreement No. 1 with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. for engineering and design services related to the Roundville Lane Project.
Body
The Roundville Lane Project will involve the reconstruction of Roundville Lane from A.W. Grimes Blvd. (CR 170) to the eastbound frontage road of SH 45 for approximately 2,700 feet. The proposed project roadway alignment will follow existing Roundville Lane, enter the development site, and terminate at the SH 45 frontage road. This project will be designed as a 3-lane, urban, concrete roadway.
The Roundville Lane Project is being developed as a two part work authorization. The initial contract, for $136,200.00, developed the project to a 30% status, which allowed for most project unknowns to have been identified. This supplemental contract, for $305,700.00, will be for the final design of Roundville Lane. Amendment to the agreement includes completion of 60%, 90% and 100% PS&E. The contract period will be extended until 08/24/2018 in accordance with the revised project schedule titled Exhibit C. Awarding of this supplemental will bring the total compensation for PS&E to $441,900.00
The Transportation Department recommends that the City of Round Rock execute a supplemental contract with Stantec Consulting Services Inc. in the amount of $305,700.00 in exchange for providing the City of Round Rock with 60%, 90%, & 100% PS&E for improving Roundville Lane from A.W. Grimes Blvd. (CR 170) to the eastbound frontage road of SH 45.
