The Utilities & Environmental Services Department is recommending an amendment to Code of Ordinances, Chapter 44, Section 44-228 regarding voluntary water conservation during peak water use periods. This revision states that the City has determined that the peak water use period begins on May 1 of each year and ends on October 31 of each year. During the peak water use, the city seeks to encourage water conservation.
