Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Construction Contract with Whitestone Civil Construction, LLC for the Texas Avenue Waterline Relocation Project.

The City acquired new Right-of-Way (ROW) for the continuation of Texas Avenue near Gregory Lane to Greenhill Drive. An existing 12-inch waterline extended through the parcel to the north of the newly acquired ROW. Because this northern parcel will be developed, this project will install a new 12-inch waterline within the newly acquired Texas Avenue ROW and abandon-in-place the existing waterline. The new 12-inch PVC waterline will extend approximately 850 feet in length.On March 16th, seven bids for this project were received with Whitestone Civil Construction, LLC submitting the lowest bid of $99,995. The Utility Staff recommends the Mayor approve a contract with Whitestone Civil for the amount of $99,995 for the Texas Avenue Waterline Relocation Project.
