This agreement is for the purchase of equipment and storage drives for the City Hall and Police Department data centers. The purchase will upgrade the City’s current investment in Compellent SAN storage with added storage capacity and faster input/output data transfer rates. The cost for upgrades to City Hall’s SAN storage is $78,637.33. The cost for upgrades to the Police Department SAN storage is $24,657.00. The total cost of this agreement is $103,294.33 and will be funded out of the Information Technology Department’s Technology Fund Data Center Technology Improvements line item.
