Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Supplemental Contract No. 1 with HDR Engineering, Inc. for the Mays at Gattis School Road Improvements Project.

The original contract with HDR Engineering for services to develop a plan set for the West Bound Gattis School Road right turn lane to North Bound Mays Street was approved November 20, 2012. Due to complications with Utility relocations, budget priorities, and other factors, which impacted the original schedule, the project was delayed. The project was recently bid and is currently set for City Council approval on August 10, 2017.
This supplemental agreement with HDR Engineering, Inc. is for completion of the PSE for the Gattis School right turn lane on to Mays Street and for plans to construct a portion of new waterline along with construction phase services while the project is active. The amount the original contract will be increased by $91,160.00.
