Consider public testimony regarding the annexation of approximately 114.47 acres of land, more or less, located at the Northeast corner of North A.W. Grimes Boulevard and County Road 186 in Williamson County, Texas (First Public Hearing).

The City Council adopted a resolution on June 22, 2017 directing the preparation of a service plan that provides for the extension of full municipal services to the 114.47 acre area. State statute requires that, following notification to the property owners and service providers in the area, the City must hold two public hearings and then initiate annexation according to a prescribed schedule. The purpose of this annexation is to provide the City with continuous land use controls on the land northeast of the intersection of North A.W. Grimes Boulevard and County Road 186.
