Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Supplemental Agreement No. 2 to the Consulting Services Agreement with Karl Kietzke for building consulting services for construction projects.

Karl Kietzke, has previously provided consulting services on a number of projects for the City, including Multipurpose fields package A and B, Fire Station No. 3 assessment, and the Fireball Grill. Typically his services are on a as needed basis, therefore the amount of involvement varies from week to week and project to project. This agreement will be similar to the previous projects in scope of work. We will be utilizing Karl for consulting day to day field supervision, supplementing our in house staff and providing a hands on approach. The project he will be working on includes; completion of the MPF “Package B”,DSO office addition, and CMRC metal pavilion structure.
Karl’s previous work at the Multi-Purpose Fields has been extremely helpful in solving problem’s ensuring the project continues to move forward. We anticipate the same success on these new projects ensuring the City of Round Rock is receiving the best value and highest quality of construction.
The funding source for this work will be prorated from each project
Cost: Not to exceed $100,000.00
