Consider a resolution calling the May 5, 2018 General Election.

This resolution simply calls the General Election for May 5, 2018 as required by statute. State election law requires that the City Council order the election before Feburary 16, 2018. City Council Place 3 and Place 5 will be on this ballot. Staff will bring forth an election services contract and joint election agreement at a later date.
