On November 28, 2017 the City Manager approved a contract with Studio |16:19, LLC to develop concept sketches for lighting and streetscape enhancements including the development of sidewalk/cafe extensions into the existing diagonal parking areas along Main Street between Mays Street and Sheppard Street in Downtown Round Rock in the amount of $18,250.00
The Transportation Department at the direction of City management is requesting to develop complete plans, specifications and estimates for lighting and street scape enhancements. Including the development of sidewalk/cafe extensions into the existing diagonal parking areas along Main Street between Mays Street and Sheppard Street in Downtown Round Rock. This office requests to utilize the services of Studio 16:19 to provide the urban design expertise piece of this project. The final deliverable will be an overall final design and construction plan package. The cost for this contract is a proposed fee of $136,590.00 making the total contract price $154,840.00. The work is anticipated to be complete by December 2018 with an additional 180 days of construction phase services once construction starts.
