Consider a resolution authorizing the City Manager to issue a Purchase Order to The Playwell Group, Inc. for the purchase of a shade structure for the Old Settlers Park Adult Sports Complex Project.

This item allows the issuance of a purchase order for shade structures associated with the Adult Recreation Complex. This purchase order is for materials only, as the installation of these structures will be performed by the approved contractor for the project, Prime Construction Company. The shelters will be installed over the spectator seating at each field to provide shade for teams and spectators.
The Adult Recreation Complex at Old Settlers Park includes construction of two (2) lighted recreational softball fields, a small restroom facility, spectator seating and shade, flexible field space, and parking. This project will serve as the first phase of the Recreation Complex and will replace the two softball fields currently located in McNeil Park which will be removed as part of the Nutty Brown Development.
Cost: $105,423.30
