Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with JNA Painting and Contracting Company, Inc. for purchase of general building construction trade services (Painting).

Invitation for Bids were solicited for Painting Services and received a total of eight (8) bids. The contract will be awarded to a primary and secondary Contractor. An evaluation team consisting of individuals with the City with expertise in this area, evaluated the invitation for bid responses and scored JNA Painting and Trini Construction as the best companies to provide these services.
The City recommends an award to JNA Painting and Trini Construction based on best overall bid response in accordance with the advertised evaluation criteria, highest points of 80 points to JNA and 75 points to Trini Construction received during IFB evaluation and scoring, and best Contractor to provide the required Painting Services for the City of Round Rock.
The term of this agreement shall be for sixty (60) months. On August 23, 2018 City Council approved Trini Construction Contract.
Cost: $375,000.00 (5 years)
