This item will authorize the Mayor to execute a contract with Partners Remodeling, Waterproofing, and Restoration for the Stark Park Improvement Project. Competitive sealed bids were received on October 2nd and Partners was found to be the low bidder. The Stark Park Improvement Project contract will include the demolition of some existing park amenities, site preparation, construction of concrete flatwork, rehabilitation of existing tennis courts, installation of a walking loop and fitness area (to include exercise equipment, climbing wall, and Gaga Ball pit), and ADA improvements.
PARD's park development team held two open houses and conducted an online survey to gather input from neighborhood residents on the park improvement plan. The final plan presented to the neighborhood received overwhelmingly positive feedback and residents expressed excitement about the redevelopment of this park.
Cost: $156,116.75
