Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Quantity Adjustment/Change Order No. 4 with Cash Construction for the Southwest Downtown District Infrastructure Improvements Phase 5B Project.

This project to improve the Downtown Area has been ongoing for the last few years and this Phase is in the two block region of Blair and Bagdad. This change order # 4 is for items that over ran the plan quantities and or were added due to the necessity of the situation. Items included additional milling and grading prior to repaving the alleys. An additional handrail at the Spanish Academy and a trickle channel at the AT&T Building.
Items that are included on the Quantity Adjustment are additional traffic control for 6 months, some additional paver units for sidewalks and asphalt stabilized base behind roadway curbs for 1.5 feet.
The total amount for the Change Order is $43,910.00. The amount for the Quantity Adjustment is $ 35,535.00. The grand total for this item is $79,445.00.
